Hey, nice blog. I found you off Pastor Chilly’s blog. It’s cool to see Anne Jackson mentioned here because I read her blog too.

My son’s are both in swimming lessons and “I Can’t Swim!” – You’d be surprised what you can do if you have to. One of my favorite OG (Old Grandpa) stories is about the time my granddaughter was still a fairly new toddler. One of her favorite things to do was crawl up to the top of the stairs in our 2 floor townhouse and use the walls to stand up and walk around. Naturally, I stayed right behind her the whole time up and down the stairs. We were at the top of the stairs when she suddenly decided to leap head first down them. Don’t ask me what got into her head to do that, maybe it just seemed like fun. I thought I had frozen into place with panic. I noticed that her descent had jerked to an abrupt halt when someone’s arm shot out of nowhere and grabbed her ankle. As she hung there upside down laughing, I followed the arm to it’s shoulder. Much to my surprise, it was my arm. Parents and grandparents discover the most amazing superpowers at the oddest times. (grin)

Scott, I so enjoy reading your blogs!

Here’s my challenge: Leave your blackberry on your desk when you leave! I don’t think you can do it.

SolShine- Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Chilly and Anne are both great; I enjoy reading their stuff and am excited for Anne to come on staff.
Jimmy- If I had to swim I would drown! :-)
Anna- I am thinking about leaving my phone or at least turning it off while we are gone. I might need it for emergencies, my wife and I might get separated at the airport or something. ;-) I am definitely checking out. Thanks for checking on me, enjoy your mission trip to Costa Rica.
FireFighter- I thought about lessons; maybe later! Ron Paul, you are not the only one telling me to check him out. Thanks for the comment!

Swimming?…took lessons when I was 11 (parents forced me) and I haven’t swam since.
Books are better than movies most of the time.
