I started blogging for informational purposes a year ago. I love having a place to just put down my revelation and my thoughts. Before (and still for the most part) mine were all stored in word documents. It's a chore going through it all to see what I have. I love your blog - it's creative and fun! Who did your site? You?

My friend John Otjen (www.blog.johnotjen.com) pushed me into the blog world. He sent me a text that said "happy birthdy aaronhavens.com" So he set up the site and taught me how to post. Thats about all i know, it's not the coolest looking site...but I love having it as a creative outlet. Scott, love reading your thoughts!

Turned out - because I want to turn the world out for Christ!!

I've been a guy that journaled most of my Christian life - it's still hard to find me without a couple different sized Moleskines tucked away in my book bag.

So, when I first read about this new online journal (back in 2002), I jumped on it and started on the free service XANGA... here I am 5 years later still bloggin'

My blog name: The Insomnia Chronicles - simple, I'm nocturnal or atleast close. My prayer time begins at 3am and I often feel most inspired or in-tune after all the business of the day is over and the quiet blanket of night has been pulled up.

With over 100,000 page visits - I'm totally amazed that so many want to read the late night ramblings of a man after God's own heart... pretty humbling - yet, cool!

How: My good friend Kevin turned me onto the blogging world. He would always talk about the great things he was reading and even writing and I was hooked. I've now been able to start and maintain some good relationships through the blog world.

What: CrossroadsMovement.com

Why: One of things that I noticed about a lot of young adults, from being one and being in ministry with, is that we make several major life decisions (college, career, relationships) and therefore often find ourselves at crossroads. The problem with being at a crossroads is that many of us are frozen at the crossroads and never move. So I decided to start a blog about moving through the crossroads of life.
