It's All About The Re-Gift!

We had my entire team and their spouses/friends over to my house last night for our annual Christmas Party the night before the LifeChurch.tv Christmas Experiences.  Let me tell you, I have absolutely the best team in the world… that just my humble opinion.  {Fist Bump} to my team!

We ate, played some poker, watched some football, laughed and played Dirty Santa; which is always fun.  The cool thing about Dirty Santa is that most of the gifts that people give are Re-Gifts!  I have a couple of questions regarding the never-ending world of Re-Gifting.

  • What are you going to Re-Gift this year or what have you already Re-Gifted?
  • What is the funniest or most ridiculous Re-Gift that you have received?

My Grandma was known to re-use Christmas cards. In other words, she would save the cards she received one year, then send them out from her the next year. We would literally get a card in the mail from her that may have originally been signed “Love, The Smiths” which would then be scratched out and re-signed, “Love, Grandma”.

No re-gifting this year. Didn’t really have a place to do it. But, I will tell you that when Chris and I got married, we got all sorts of crystal platters and bowls. We re-gifted them for the upcoming weddings of people we didn’t know too well. I don’t think we bought a gift for 5 years!

I doubt we do any re-gifting this year, but the best dirty santa gift that I thought was stink’n hilarious was from the Digerati team. I saw per video that somebody bought a mouse in one of the exercise cylinders. C-L-A-S-S-I-C!!!

My mother-in-law gave me $50 cash. I’m going to re-gift it to my granddaughter. Boy, do we know how to buy presents or what? (grin)
