Good Or Bad… It’s All Good!

I have been amazed at how God continues to bless little ol’ me.  I mean seriously, every time I turn around there is a blessing in front of me, as well as an opportunity to be a blessing. I’m listening to God’s Whispers, being sensitive to The Spirit and walking through doors that He cracks open.

Good or Bad… It’s All Good!

It has been heavy on my heart the amount of appreciation that I have for all of the blessings that God continues to place in my life. It’s also been heavy on my heart that I don’t say Thank You Jesus enough.  Good or Bad, it doesn’t matter what we go through; what matters is how we go through it. I will choose to go through the various doors of life with a heart of thanksgiving.

It’s not merely about the outward expression, it’s more about the inner appreciation that rests deep inside my heart. God, I will praise You more and more and more, “That my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever.” Psalm 30:12

    I will say, “Thank you Jesus”, much more often. It doesn’t feel natural to be thankful when storms in life arise — but as you say, “Good or Bad.. It’s All Good!”

    Good stuff! I have made it a practice to say good morning to God every morning I wake which is my way of saying thank you God for all you do for me. However, I can do more as for spending more time in worship (not in a church setting but at home in the closet if you know what i mean). the good, the bad & the ugly…it’s all good! Philippians 4:11

    Scott, you have always lived by that motto! God has gifted you with an amazing ability to look at the glass half full. When we get to the point in our walk with God that we can begin to ask “What” instead of “Why” he really begins to transform us! It’s all Good!

    An awesome reminder that He is always deserving of praise. I am daily humbled that even if I praise Him all day long it is never enough to thank Him for the grace, mercy and goodness He shows to me every moment. Yes, Thank you Jesus!

    Without a doubt it took me time to understand the vastness and greatness of God’s love for me, when that day came I dropped on my face and cried like a baby. Since then, I cannot get his love, mercy and kindness out of my mind or heart. Great post, it’s about finding gratitude like Paul says in Philippians 4:11 “I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances”
    The song says “Amazing love, how can it be, that you my King would die for me?”..

    A friend of mine on Twitter recently pointed out an interesting perspective. He said God works all things together for MY good. I’d heard Joseph’s version, where Joseph says God works all things together for good… but I hadn’t made it as personal.

    Not only is it “all good”… it’s all good specifically for me, which is, well, a little bit amazing. :>)

    TRUTH: it’s ALL good!

    So much has happened in my life & ministry over the last month – crazy stuff. Definitely some things that others considered ‘bad’ but wow, God KNOWS what He’s doing!

    Great reminder and it sounds like you have a great heart. My wife and I were just discussing this recently as we have attended a couple of churches where the focus was more on rules, less on the heart of Jesus. We summed up the atmosphere with the word “zombies”. A heart of thankfulness would definitely wake these places up.

    There are things we can see and recognize as blessings. How many things though does God protect us from? Honestly, I think we have no clue how much God does on our behalf.

    If God is good, and he knows all, and he can do all, then what would he give us that is not ultimately for his glory, and therefore for our good? It’s all good!
