There are things we can see and recognize as blessings. How many things though does God protect us from? Honestly, I think we have no clue how much God does on our behalf. If God is good, and he knows all, and he can do all, then what would he give us that is not ultimately for his glory, and therefore for our good? It's all good! Good stuff, Scott.

My wife and I were just discussing this recently as we have attended a couple of churches where the focus was more on rules, less on the heart of Jesus. He said God works all things together for MY good. I'd heard Joseph's version, where Joseph says God works all things together for good... but I hadn't made it as personal.
