2 Characteristics Of Successful Entrepreneurs

en-tre-pre-neur: a person who organizes and manages any enterprise, especially a business,
usually with considerable initiative and risk.

Many people have a desire to become a flourishing entrepreneur; however only a small percentage are successful. Successful entrepreneurs exhibit 2 key characteristics: a.) They are willing to put forth considerable initiative  b.) They understand they can’t be successful without a willingness to take considerable risk.

Do you want to be a successful entrepreneur?  Get up, Step up, Show some initiative and be ready to take some considerable risk.

Is it really that simple?  Share your thoughts!

  • Nice and simple, Scott.  Good job!

As for your statement “put forth considerable initiative” — I have found this to be so key. I always say that if a person has the ability to “grind it out,” and even more, if that person enjoy the grind, his or her chance of success as an entrepreneur is significantly higher.  At least, this has been a significant key for me as an entrepreneur.

Good stuff bro. As far as the risk part goes I think the key is to take calculated risks as opposed to jumping blindly into the market place riding only on a gut “feeling” and hope like so many new entrepreneurs do. But, few people take the time and know how to assess risk so the ones that do often succeed as long as their “want to” outlasts the hurtles that come in business. Love it!
