This precious little girl that attends my church named Rylie Faith Tran had a fundraiser today. Rylie has leukemia and I blogged about her situation here a couple of weeks ago. The fundraiser was great and there were a bunch of people that showed up, including the local news stations. Check out this video, check out Rylie’s story and please lift this family and this precious little girl up in prayer.
God is Good, All The Time and this Family has FAITH… Rylie “Faith” Tran!
Chris Brown and Sony Dance all The Way To The Bank… Thanks To Hillarious Wedding Video. This crazy viral YouTube shows the entire Wedding Party doing a crazy dance number to Chris Brown’s song “Forever” while entering. Two things are probably certain about this video 1.) the Couple wanted this video to go viral. 2.) The couple did not have permission from Chris Brown, Sony or Rihanna {insert smile} to use the song.
Instead of Sony getting an injunction, suing, having the video removed or crying like a baby they decided to dance all the way to the bank. The video has received 14 million views and Sony added a nice little click-to-buy link where you can buy the single. Can you say Cha’ Ching$$$$… sales have skyrocketed, with the single topping both Amazon and iTunes top seller lists.
Does this change the game for the way the recording industry views music piracy or unauthorized use? Share your thoughts on the video, the couple 5 minutes of fame or Sony’s approach!
This weekend our message at church was inspired by the movie Coach Carter. Overall it was a great message; however the reciting of an excerpt of Marianne Williamson’s poem “Our Deepest Fear” was truly inspiring. Check out the 39 sec. typography video from the movie Coach Carter as it was recited by Timo Cruz in the movie. Below is the full version of Marianne Williamson’s original poem… let these words inspire you to believe and not fear:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
I took my dog to the groomer and this is some footage of me picking him up from the Doggy DayCare. Could someone answer this question: Why dogs sniff other dogs private areas? My dog needs to stop, it doesn’t seem to gentlemen like!
